قال وزير الطاقة والنفط المهندس جادين علي عبيد ان السودان بلد كبير تتوفر فيه مصادر الطاقة المتجددة بكثرة لاسيما الطاقة الشمسية التي تعم معظم أجزائه مؤكداً اهتمام الوزارة بالطاقات المتجددة وتطوير هذا المشروع الذي يعد في نقطة الانطلاق حتى تعم الفائدة الجميع.
فيما اكد رئيس الوفد ان شركته تستهدف توليد من (100 الى 200) ميقاواط بالسودان من الطاقات المتجددة مشيراً الى ان الشركة تنتج حوالي واحد قيقا ” اي الف ميقاواط ” معظمها من الطاقة الشمسية في عدد من الدول موضحاً ان شركته تعمل في مجال الطاقة وتجارة النفط والغاز وتعد أكبر شركة غير حكومية في العالم في مجال تجارة النفط والغاز وتبلغ مبيعاتها ثمانية ملايين برميل يومياً وهي اكبر مورد للديزل في السودان ولها تعاون كبير مع المؤسسة السودانية للنفط في مجال المنتجات البترولية.
واضاف رئيس الوفد بعد رفع السودان الدعم عن المنتجات البترولية سنعمل على تقديم العون الكافي للسودان من منطلق تجربتنا في أفريقيا والتعاون مع الكثير من الدول التي مرت بنفس التجربة من خلال شراكتنا مع شركة فيفو إنرجي التي تعمل في 16 دولة افريقية.
الجدير بالذكر ان شركة فيتول شركة عالمية ذات اصول هولندية مقر ادارتها في العاصمة البريطانية لندن، تمتلك ستة مصافي لتكرير النفط بسعة تكريرية نصف مليون برميل يومياً وتبلغ استثماراتها في مجال الطاقات المتجددة لوحدها مليار دولار.
