بدأت وزارة التجارة السودانية في استعادة بنك النيل إلى التعاونيات بعد أن نُزع عنها في فترة النظام السابق.
وتحاول حكومة الانتقال إحياء الحركة التعاونية التي فقدت أصولها وتشريد العاملين فيها، بعد أن عانت من تدهور مريع في السنوات الفائتة.
واستبدل نظام الرئيس المعزول عمر البشير اسم بنك التنمية التعاوني إلى بنك النيل.
وقال وزير التجارة علي جدو خلال حديثه حفل اليوم العالمي للتعاون، إن “الوزارة شرعت في استعادة بنك النيل إلى التعاونيات، فقد كان ضمن أصول الجمعيات التعاونية لتمويل احتياجاتها”.
وأعلن الوزير عن استعادة شركات التعاونيات إلى وزارة التجارة، مشيرًا إلى اقتراب إجازة مشروع قانون التعاونيات لسنة 2021 من قبل البرلمان المؤقت.
وتحدث علي جدو عن الدمار الذي أصاب التعاونيات خلال العهد السابق من تبديد أصولها وتشريد العاملين فيها وفقدان مصادر التمويل ومصادرة مركز تدريب التعاون.
وأضاف: “تم وضع خارطة طريق لإعادة الهيكل القانوني للتعاونيات والاهتمام بالمرأة والشباب مع التركيز على الجمعيات التعاونية”.
وشدد الوزير على أن الحكومات يمكنها الاعتماد على التعاونيات كـ “وسيلة للتنمية الذاتية”.
ونفذت حكومة الانتقال برنامج سلعتي، الذي يعمل على بيع السلع بأسعار مخفضة إلى الجمعيات التعاونية في الأحياء بعد أن تُسجل رسميًا.
